U N C O N V E N T I O N A L

I've been dreaming of a vacation for sometime now but somehow or the other the whole thing isn't really working out. So, I decided to take a day off from everything and rush to the beach for a relaxed weekend. Thanks to the getaways that are just few hours away from the city. While I was in the mood to rejuvenate and calm my senses down which I eventually did, every second seemed worth it. The repercussions of holi clearly show on my skin here but I'm glad that the colors have faded away and my skin's back to normal now!

My love for flowy silhouettes is eternal. When it comes to comfort and relaxation I'd chose it over structured pieces any day. I got this dress almost a year back  but never got a chance to wear it. I had been looking for the perfect opportunity to wear it and I finally got it. This dress is not exactly what it looks like here though! The fall of this dress is like that of a harem pant. But thanks to the wind the dress couldn't sustain its shape. I'll try posting a proper picture on my social media when I next wear it and hopefully the wind won't bother me then. The abstract print on the dress is so minimal and fresh. I love anything that screams minimalism but also grabs eyeballs at the same time. I wrapped a neck-piece around my wrist and this is what I do most of the time because I have a really narrow wrist and also because I like how it looks on my wrist. This dress is so perfect for summer and makes a great alternative for midi dresses. Try pieces with different cuts and falls. Experiment with prints and silhouettes which are light and obviously summer friendly. Tell me what you're crushing on this summer and also do tell me what do you guys think of this look?
