Crushin' a little

Okay so I have been completely MIA on the blog for quite some time now but I'm finally back. I was kinda busy with all sort of festivity, guests and other work going on hand in hand but I somewhat managed to be regular on my social media so I'm hoping you guys will bear with me. So the weather in Kolkata has been acting a bit crazy these days. It was getting a little chill but then its back to warm again and I am here just waiting to get my blazers and coats out of the closet. But nevermind I am just trying to cherish this weather for now without cribbing.

Moving on to the post I shot this look while it was obviously a little chill. I paired my crop ribbed waist sweater with a basic black midi pencil skirt. I've had this sweater for the past one year now but I never got a chance to wear it until now. How weird can I be?! *facepalm* Okay so whatever! I threw on a pair of white sneakers to complete the look. This is the kind of outfit that I'd prefer wearing on the days I have errands to run. And with the most trusted pairs of sneakers the task is half done for me. You can skip the crop sweater and go for a full sleeve crop top instead too. The choice is entirely yours!

Do let me know how you liked the look and what your running errand outfit would be like.

On a roll || Trend : T-shirt Dress

How convenient is it to have a certain piece in your wardrobe that you can just throw on and yet look super cool. T-shirt dresses are such easy peasy piece that is effortless on its own. I personally love t-shirt dresses and are literally my to go outfit when I’m too lazy to even use my brains and go through my clothes.

Bewakoof came up with their new collection of T-shirt dresses recently and I couldn’t help but pick one. This one from Bewakoof is  the kind I generally opt for. Since I’m hooked to wearing sneakers almost everyday with almost everything, I love throwing on a T-shirt dress for that casual yet chic feel. I love drowning in casuals and I do drown in it most of the time, so such pieces are pure love. T-shirt dresses are something which make me move around all day long in ease. Here I've styled the dress by throwing on a denim shirt and sneakers of course. This look is so comfortable and easy that you can just spend your life in it. If you are one comfort lover like I am than you seriously need to log on to Bewakoof.com and browse through their collection of t-shirt dresses. I bet you cannot and will not end up buying only one from their amazingly chic collection.

Also check out their collection of T-shirtsVestJoggers and Full sleeve t-shirts for men. You don't really need a reason to gift something this cool to the men in your life. So go on! Get splurging!

Perfect Pimple Fix!

How terrifying can it be to see a pimple pop up on your face a day before something really important?!  Honestly as a kid I didn’t really care about anything red popping on my face overnight but as I grew up anything of that sort freaked me out. Though I don’t really get a pimple easily maybe because I have a combination skin, but when I do it is definitely a harsh one. It is so painful that I almost am on the verge of knocking it off my face but then obviously I don’t because of the repercussions. Also the fact that I get it on weird parts of my face is unbelievably annoying. Like who gets a pimple on the tip of their nose? Oh well, I do! Now can you understand how terribly annoying it is? I never really knew about anything that I could reach out to get rid of this trauma. I literally waited for almost a week to let it vanish on its own earlier. But now I don’t have that sort of time. I go crazy and need to get rid of it like asap. But I've got the perfect fix just about time.

I’d really like to thank Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash for this instance. It's soap free herbal formulation is so gentle on the skin and works super effectively on the pimples.  I just apply it twice a day and spoof my pimple vanishes. Imagine! The kind of stubborn pimple that I get just vanishes in a day. And now since I have a schedule to work according to I cannot waste a day crying over mere pimples. So since almost a year, I make it a point to use it at least thrice a week to avoid pimples. And trust me it has worked wonders. If you too are troubled because of nothing else but pimples give this Purifying Neem Face Wash by Himalaya Herbals a try. I bet you wouldn't reach out for anything other than this ever after!

All about comfort

When the streets are a mess around this time of the year, obviously because of the monsoons I tend to sulk at home.  I like to watch the rains tugged inside a rug with a cup of hot chocolate ideally but when you’ve got to move your ass because you’ve made prior commitments and are ultimately left with no other option than to suit up that is when I lose my capacity of thinking. I have always preferred comfort over anything. And when the weather is this gloomy I need to get my comfort on making it a point that the gloominess doesn’t kill my vibe!

 I am a sucker for slip-ons. It is my most sought after option on days when I really want to dress up but also drown myself in casuals. I have been loving PRESA for their unconventional collection of flats/slip-ons. I have been swearing by my pairs of presa since the day I’ve got my hands on them. If you’ve been following me on Instagram and Facebook you’ve probably seen my posts wearing them fabulous Presa flats. They are so comfortable and light weight with an amazingly soft upper sole. The designs are so unique that you really can’t settle down with one of their pairs. Every pair is unique and some even portray your mood on certain days.  Here I’ve paired this asymmetrical side draped number with these cool pair of metallic shady black and gold flats. It adds the right amount of jazz and bling to the outfit without making it look overdone. If you are as moody as I am and are really particular about dressing up your mood you are going to get some serious therapy here. So log on to Presaflats.com and treat your soul with some “Won’t burn holes on your pocket” kinda therapy!
