Diva Mode

Midi skirts did hold a great part in the fashion trend this year. It was literally everywhere, and by literally I mean LITERALLY! Though I never really thought they would stick so much outside their professional-office-borderline-evening-outfit-quality. Well, they did and in the best way possible.
I personally find midi skirts be it flared or pencil or rather anything to be very poised and sophisticated. The best thing is that you can wear it anywhere and everywhere. There are so many styles and designs for absolutely any occasion.  Pair it with crop tops, fitted tops, knits or just throw on a denim jacket over your crop you can go wild really. You can also wear it for a casual day out with friends by pairing it with a nice shirt and a pair of sneakers or brogues or even sandals if you are a sucker for comfort! And for the glam night out you can pair it like the way I did here. The boat neckline enhances and highlights your neck area. The metal grey skirt has my heart at the moment so enough said!  Make sure you keep the color palette in mind while some mix and match. Mix prints maybe like stripes on your top and floral on your bottom. Play around and have some fun.

Black Romance

By now my love for black must have been super prominent to everyone. I love experimenting with colors but then I also happen to get weak on my knees when it comes to the color black. This outfit is so spontaneous and chic at the same time. I chose to wear this double slit chiffon paneled top which I grabbed while in Mumbai and it was such a steal. Little did I know then that I would be so obsessed with the slit trend right now. I ditched the age old denim/shorts for this one and opted for a black body-con skirt instead when it came to pairing.I kept it really minimal on the accessory as always but this chic golden clutch bag totally made up for it. Experimenting with looks is something that I've always enjoyed. And there is also so much more to this color. And just in case you plan  to go casual just ditch those heels for a pair of sneakers and you're good to go!

Rustic Retro

I love styling outfits in a rather effortless way to create a chic look and on the days when you are really confused on what to wear and have to get ready in fraction of minutes such classic pieces become your savior. This rust jumpsuit from Koovs happens to be such a piece for me. It is effortlessly chic on it's own. It's such a classic piece that stands out on its own. The flared bottom is a win win for me. It gets you into the retro mood immediately. The tie back enhances the whole outfit. You can let such outfits do all the talking by themselves. Just throw on some intricate gold accessories to complete the look and you are good to go. As you all have known by now that I believe in minimalism and let my outfit do all the talking I don't mind sharing the limelight at times. The box ring is such a piece which does require attention here. It is so elegant and vintage at the same time.I am in a complete awe as how it compliments this outfit so well.
